In August of 2021, I collaborated with the phenomenal New Orleans-based artist – Langston Allston. The best way to describe and explain the meaning/message behind this piece and project is with the words of the artist:

“We bring the sun with us where we go
Like Helios racing across the sky
Looking for rest in the land of Ethiops
But darkness eludes us
We shine through the night
Through cracks in concrete
And trumpet calls
Trapped in the sun”
